A night of family fun and games is coming to Coral Springs, just in time for the new school year.
The city’s Parks and Recreation Department will host Family Fun Night at Coral Springs Gymnasium, 2501 Coral Springs Dr., on August 11 from 6 to 8 p.m., and every second Wednesday of the month thereafter, officials said. Admission is free.
The new initiative is meant to bring the community together, providing a fun and interactive space for residents and guests.
“Our city’s mission is to be the premier city in which to live, work and raise a family,” said Rob Hunter, Coral Springs’ Director of Parks and Recreation. “This event will provide families with free activities and a greater sense of community. We are excited to get it launched before the new school year.”
Participants can play board games, ping pong, bingo, frolic inside bounce houses, arts and crafts, and other activities. No registration is required. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Family Fun Nights are scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. on the following dates:
– Wednesday, August 11, 2021
– Wednesday, September 8, 2021
– Wednesday, October 13, 2021
– Wednesday, November 10, 2021
