Prepare to be enchanted by the underwater adventures of Marlin, Dory, Nemo, and a host of other beloved characters as Coral Springs Center for the Arts presents the youth camp’s production of “Finding Nemo the Musical.”
“Finding Nemo JR.” is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie “Finding Nemo.” It features new music by the award-winning songwriting duo Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
The story follows Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, who embarks on an epic journey across the ocean to find his son Nemo after he is captured and taken to Sydney. Along the way, Marlin is joined by unforgettable characters like the optimistic Dory, the laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, all of whom help him face his fears along the way.
The musical is packed with songs, including “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow.”
This family-friendly show showcases the talent of performers aged 5-13 and their amazing ability to create the production in just two weeks.
Mark your calendars for two unforgettable performances: Thursday, July 18 at 11:00 a.m. and Friday, July 19 at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets are priced at just $25 and can be purchased through The Center’s Box Office by calling 954-344-5990, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
