Groovy4Good Inc. will host a fitness fundraiser next month to benefit homeless pets, combining a workout, refreshments, and pet adoptions at a local Coral Springs studio.
The event, titled “Groovy4Good Presents: Sweat 4 Shelter Pets,” is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 10, from noon to 2 p.m. at LuLu Fitness Kettlebell Club, 10530 Wiles Road.
Groovy4Good Inc. is a volunteer-run, registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Coral Springs that advocates for and supports local animal rescues across South Florida through creative events, community engagement and educational initiatives.
Registration includes a workout class led by Coach LuLu of LuLu Fitness, an iced coffee bar, snack bar, giveaways and meet-and-greet opportunities with adoptable pets from UFAR Animals Rescue in Margate.
Coach LuLu has owned and operated her Coral Springs fitness studio for more than five years and regularly partners with community organizations for charitable events.
The cost to participate is $20, with proceeds benefiting UFAR Animals Rescue. Advance registration is required and available online at https://givebutter.com/oseMgE.
UFAR Animals Rescue is a Margate-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned and neglected animals in Broward County and surrounding areas.
