With one of the scariest nights of the year lurking around the corner, many of the activities that have been planned seem to be centered around the really young kids; however, Phantasmagoria XI is perfect for those Halloween fans that are only young at heart.
“It’s not suitable for younger children,” said Meera Paul from the Coral Springs Center for the Arts about Phantasmagoria XI, which is only recommended for children 8 and up due to some of the horror that is depicted.
Phantasmagoria XI, fittingly called “Plague Tales,” features five spooky stories that come alive through dancing, fighting scenes, puppetry, fire, and aerial arts. Based on old folk stories, legends, and forgotten myths, this dynamic show puts a new spin on stories from the likes of Edgar Allan Poe and Robert Louis Stevenson.
To register or for more information about this virtual show streamed online from October 30 through November 1, visit Coral Springs Center for the Arts. This unique storytelling event’s cost is $20, and a code will be sent through email before the show date’s start time. Limited to just one device, the code will be valid from the start of the 4 p.m. showtime until 3 p.m. the following day.
Phantasmagoria XI “Plague Tales” is a frighteningly good time and a perfect way to get your family in the Halloween spirit; remember that it may not be for the faint of heart!
