Holy Cross Hospital is inviting the community to celebrate the opening of its new Urgent Care & Physician Offices in Coral Springs.

Holy Cross Hospital is South Florida’s only nonprofit Catholic hospital, and their newest clinic, located on the northeast corner of University Drive and Sample Road, will be holding an open house Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The free community event will include guided tours of the new 10,000-square-foot facility, functional movement and flexibility screenings, a health lecture on migraines, mini spa treatments, food and refreshments, musical entertainment provided by a live DJ, a photo booth, giveaways and parting gifts for guests.

“We are committed to bringing our highly rated medical care closer to all of our current and future patients who live and work in the Coral Springs community and surrounding areas,” said Holy Cross Hospital President and CEO Patrick A. Taylor, M.D. “Patients visiting our new Urgent Care and Physician Offices can expect the same high standards of excellence and compassionate care we offer at Holy Cross Hospital.

Open seven days a week, the clinic’s services include treatment of minor illnesses such as cold and flu, pink eye, and rashes; the administration of immunizations, vaccines and intravenous fluids; treatment of sprains, lacerations and burns; and care for common medical conditions such as high blood pressure, dizziness and nausea. Other services include annual physicals, digital x-rays, and physical therapy.

The Holy Cross Urgent Care Center is operational Monday through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Digital x-rays also are available at those times with a prescription. Physical therapy will be available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday by appointment. Physician office hours vary.

The new facility, located at 3481 North University Drive, will feature 22 treatment and exam rooms and two X-ray rooms, is the fourth in a series of ambulatory care centers that Holy Cross has opened throughout South Florida. The hospital’s other urgent care centers are located in Fort Lauderdale and east and west Boca Raton.

Said Taylor, “With the busy lives we lead, our walk-in services and same-day appointments now provide residents of northwestern Broward County more convenient options to get the care they need.”
