Help keep the city beautiful and score some internet karma when you volunteer to help pick up trash throughout the city.
Take your befores and afters and make your own trashtag challenge. Students can also earn service hours during the event and a free lunch is included.
Through the Adopt-A-Street program and the Community Foundation of Broward, volunteers working with team captains will help clean different areas throughout the city on Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Along with earning service hours, there will be raffles for participants.
To register, volunteer forms are available at www.CoralSprings.org/volunteer or e-mail volunteer@coralsprings.org. If you missed this date, there will be more throughout the year. Sign up so you will be on the list for the next city-wide clean-up program.
