Residents are invited to come and meet Julie Weil as she tells her story of how she went from being a victim to a survivor on Saturday, June 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Northwest Regional Library in Coral Springs.
Julie Weil is a rape survivor who hopes to help stop violence against women. As an active member of the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Networks Speaker Bureau (RAINN), she is empowered to tell her story to anyone who will listen in the hopes that it will encourage women to speak out against rape and inspire legislators to pass laws that will help take criminals off the streets.
