Coral Springs Day of Prayer. {City of Coral Springs}
Religions of all types are invited to pray for the community and leaders on The National Day of Prayer.
The Clergy Coalition of Coral Springs, Parkland, and Northwest Broward, in partnership with the Coral Springs Multi-Cultural Advisory Committee, is holding the event on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts.
Residents from all faiths are welcome to join the shared community prayer service, where young members of various houses of worship will pray for our leaders, our nation, and peace.
This event celebrates a tradition of over 35 years, bringing people of all beliefs together in a moment of peace and hope for the future.
The National Day of Prayer was started on April 17, 1952, when Conrad Hilton of Hilton Hotels and Senator Frank Carlson of Kansas passed a bill (Public Law 82-324) that designated a National Day of Prayer. In 1988, President Ronald Reagan established the first Thursday in May as the observance.
