The J.P. Taravella High School bowling team defeated Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School three to one on Tuesday at Bowlero Tamarac.
Trojans Coach Greg Mason was pleased with the team’s victory. “It was a very good match,” he said.
Mason said Marvin Nixon, Zachery Kimbrell, and Bryce Collins bowled well.
“If we keep going like this, we will have a good year,” said Mason. The Trojans have a 26 – 4 record.
Mike Gregory, the Eagles coach, was disappointed with the loss. “We did not do as well as I wanted to,” he said.
According to Gregory, Angelo Ferrigno and Luke Munson bowled well.
“We had a lot of missed spares, and Taravella bowled well,” said Gregory.
