The J.P. Taravella High School drama department is bringing the magic of Oz to life with its upcoming production of The Wizard of Oz, running February 20-22.
Audiences can follow Dorothy, Toto, and their companions down the Yellow Brick Road as they journey through a land of witches, flying monkeys, and the great and powerful Wizard.
This production, inspired by the classic 1939 MGM film and featuring music by Harold Arlen and lyrics by E.Y. Harburg, offers a full-scale spectacle complete with the cherished songs, unforgettable characters, and magical moments that have made The Wizard of Oz a timeless favorite thanks to the technical designs crafted by Taravella Theatre students.
Showtimes are scheduled for:
- Thursday, February 20, at 7 p.m.
- Friday, February 21, at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, February 22, at 2 p.m.

Tickets are available for $15 for adults and $12 for students and can be purchased online at GoFan.co.
