Local attorney and longtime community advocate Jeffrey “Jeff” Adelman has officially entered the 2026 municipal race, declaring his candidacy Monday for Coral Springs City Commissioner, Seat 4.
Adelman, a Board-Certified Civil Trial Lawyer with over two decades of practice, has lived in Coral Springs for more than 40 years and built a résumé of civic and professional leadership.
Voters have named him “Best Attorney in Coral Springs & Parkland” for 12 straight years, and in 2023, the American Board of Trial Advocates’ Fort Lauderdale chapter honored him as Trial Lawyer of the Year.
“Coral Springs has been a wonderful place to grow up and raise my family. I’m running because I want to give something back to the city I love,” Adelman said.
“My priorities are clear: reduce traffic congestion, enhance public safety, protect green spaces, keep taxes and fees low, and preserve the character of our community for generations to come,” he added.
Adelman’s platform centers on transparency, accountability, and collaborative problem-solving, pledging “practical, forward-thinking solutions that put families and neighborhoods first.”
He currently lives in Coral Springs with his wife and children and continues to hold leadership roles with the Florida Bar, ABOTA, and several Masonic charities.
Since 2018, Joshua Simmons has been the city commissioner for Seat 4; however, after two consecutive terms, he will be term-limited in 2026.
