North Springs Little League had a pair of baseball teams competing in the State Championship, with the 50-70 intermediate and seniors.
The 50-70 intermediate team went 2-1 after dominating wins against Venice and Boca Raton. They outscored their opponents 35-1 in their two victories before falling against the eventual Champion, Keystone, 6-1.
Their team featured Brayden Basso, Blake Burden, Grayson Faircloth, Jorden Gasper, Dylan Haynes, Brayden Johnson, Luke Niedda, Jack Parnham, Rey Pena, Thomas Scheidt, Kellen Streicher, Micah Bonilla, Aiden Goldstein, Devin Julmiste, Sebastian Mejia and Brody Tudor.
The seniors recorded one win, beating East Boyton Beach 13-5. They suffered losses against North Port and East Shady Hills, scoring only three runs in those two games.
The team had Bryan Defau, Ian Nagle, Jonathan Campbell, Aaron Ricker, Alex Visquel, Branden English, Carter Claudio, Joshua Sullivan, Kellan Brodmerkel, Mason Coyne, Massimo Carbone, Nicholas Visquel, Titan Slone, and Xavier Suriel.
