The Original Florida Pokers are set to host their first Recruiting and Development Seminar on Jan. 4 at the Coral Springs Charter Auditorium.
The panel will consist of current professional baseball players Cade Fergus, Caleb Roberts, Christian Scott, Jack Sinclair, former college baseball stars Blake Hely, Eddie Ayala, and Jon Strauss, and four-time State Champion Coach Todd Fitz-Gerald from the Marjory Stoneman Douglas baseball team.
“If playing college baseball and getting a college degree is your goal, then this is an important event to attend,” said Florida Pokers founder Lenny Roberts, adding that parents and players will have the opportunity to ask current and former student-athletes what they did to get them there, how their experiences were at their schools, and what they wish they knew going into it all.
This event will be free for Original Pokers players and $25 for guests. Doors open at 5:15 p.m., with the event running from 6-8:30 p.m. The Coral Springs Charter Auditorium is located at 3205 N University Dr.
