This week, the Humane Society of Broward County has some wonderful pets to choose from. All adoptions include spaying or neutering, vaccinations, a microchip, treatment for flea and ticks, and much more.
Bruce and Daisy
Seven-year-old Bruce and four-year-old Daisy, the beagle mix, might look a bit like the odd couple, but this bonded pair are looking for a home where they can stay together. Can you make their wish come true?
Sadly, they were given up because their family could no longer afford to care for them. They were sad to give them up but wanted them to have the best life possible.
Bruce likes to play fetch, and Daisy will run after Bruce while he gets the ball. The pair are crate trained, and Bruce knows some basic commands. He will sit for a treat while Daisy bounces around. They are good with kids and other dogs and would love to have a family to love for this holiday and many more.
Sabrina
Sabrina, the kitty (ID 646731), needs a cat lover to adopt her.
At just over a year old, Sabrina can be on the shy side and may hide until she feels comfortable. A quiet home will suit her best, and once she gets to know you, she might snuggle on your lap for some pets.
To meet these pets, fill out a pre-adoption application online at www.humanebroward.com. Once completed, visit the shelter located at 2070 Griffin Road, a block west of I-95, opening daily at 11 a.m. For questions, call 954-989-3977 ext. 6
Adoptions are $300 for puppies five months and younger, $150 for dogs six months and older, $100 for kittens five months and younger, and $40 for cats six months and older (Adopt one, get one free).
Located at 2070 Griffin Rd, in Fort Lauderdale.
