Be prepared for a chance of snow when downtown Coral Springs is transformed into a winter wonderland.
The Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital Broward Health Coral Springs ushers in the holiday season with “Downtown in December.” This fun, free event is for families of all ages and includes a tree lighting, train rides, a visit from Santa and the holiday movie – The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.
Stay tuned for an advanced weather warning, because Coral Springs will experience snow that night. There will be “make and take” activities for the kids, as well as free milk and cookies.
Food and beverages will also be available for purchase from food truck vendors.
This fun holiday favorite takes place on Saturday, December 7, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the City Hall Great Lawn, located at 9500 West Sample Road.
Bring your lawn chairs and blanket. There is plenty of free parking in the City Hall garage.
