Don’t make a rookie mistake and miss the city’s first King of Coral Springs Chess Tournament.
Make the opening move and be there on Saturday, May 15, at the Coral Springs Gymnasium, where players are organized into three categories: Elementary ages 5-11; Middle and High ages 12-18; and Family and Friends 18 and over.
Top 5 participants receive trophies for ages: Elementary School: Ages 5-11 and Middle and High School: Ages 12-18
Top 3 Participants receive trophies for ages: Family and Friends Open: 18+
Due to COVID-19, there will be limited spots available for participants and spectators. Those not registered will not have access to the Coral Springs Gymnasium. Masks are required at all times, and hand sanitizer will be provided to players. All participants and spectators must register here.
If you’re late, you may forfeit your chance. “Check” in time will begin at 8 a.m. with chess matches beginning promptly at 9 a.m.
