Get ready to witness tomorrow’s brightest stars at the Rotary Club of Boca Raton’s 19th annual Future Stars Performing Arts Competition. This highly anticipated event, organized by the Club’s Rotarians, will feature 29 finalists selected from an audition pool of 62 performers, including participants from Coral Springs, Parkland, Plantation, and Coconut Creek.

The competition is open to middle and high school performers from Miami-Dade to Broward County, with most participants coming from Palm Beach and Broward Counties. The event, held on Tuesday, March 7, at 7 p.m. at the Mizner Park Amphitheater, is part of the Festival of the Arts BOCA for the first time.

The Rotary Club of Boca Raton has been organizing this event for the past 19 years and the proceeds from the competition fund an annual performing arts scholarship. The Future Stars from years past include renowned Billboard recording star Kendra Erika, actress Chloe Dolandis, and local actress Sara Grant. Participants in the competition have gone on to study at the country’s premier performing arts colleges, including New York University’s Tisch School, Belmont University, The Berklee College of Music, and Juilliard.

Middle and high school performers will compete in 29 acts, vying for medals awarded at the finale. Dancers and singers will compete in several categories, including Dance Group, Middle School Dance Solo, High School Dance Solo, Middle School Vocal Solo, and High School Vocal Solo.

The city of Boca Raton will host the competition, and with professional sound and lighting, it promises to be an event to remember.

Tradition is cheering on their favorites, and most audience members’ seating is free. However, to support the Rotary Club of Boca Raton’s performing arts scholarships and this event, 400 upfront tickets are available for purchase. VIP tickets are $50, while premium tickets are $30. You can purchase your tickets online at Rotary Club Boca Raton.
