Northwest Regional Library {Broward County}.
Back by popular demand, the City of Coral Springs will once again offer local high school students the opportunity to enroll in one-day Test Prep Workshops throughout the 2024-25 school year.
The workshops have been designed to help students prepare for college entrance exams, including the SAT, ACT, and PSAT.
The city has invested in six individual sessions, with the first workshop scheduled for Saturday, September 21, at the Northwest Regional Library, located at 3151 North University Drive, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m
The program has been expanded to include more dates and a comprehensive range of offerings. This year, the workshops will cover ACT and PSAT preparation in addition to SAT prep.
The workshops will allow students to practice with real tests, review time-management and multiple-choice strategies, frequently tested math concepts, and active reading strategies.
Classes will reinforce commonly tested grammar concepts to help students build confidence in their test-taking abilities.
Workshops are available to students who reside or attend school in Coral Springs. Registration fees, which include lunch and snacks, have been set at $20.
Pre-registration is required to participate, and students can secure their spots and find more information by visiting CoralSprings.gov/SATPrep.
Students should come prepared with pencils, note paper, a digital SAT-approved calculator, and a laptop, Chromebook, or tablet installed with the Blue Book app.
