The Next Stop Broadway Teen Theatre Project will present the Broadway musical Mean Girls at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts with three performances at the end of July.
Based on the hit 2004 film, Mean Girls: The Musical follows new student Cady Heron as she navigates the challenges of high school, friendships, and identity. The production features upbeat musical numbers, comedy and themes of kindness, confidence and staying true to yourself.
“Directing Mean Girls with this remarkable group of young performers has been an absolute joy,” said Artistic Director Cynthia O’Brien. “In just five short weeks, this cast embraced an incredibly demanding rehearsal schedule with enthusiasm, creativity, and unwavering commitment.”
The performances are scheduled for Thursday, July 30, at 11 a.m., and Friday, July 31, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Tickets are available at TheCenterCS.com. Discounted Student Rush tickets will be offered on the day of each performance while supplies last.
