
Six Finalists for the Parkland 17 Memorial.
The Rotary Club of Coral Springs-Parkland is hosting a Casino Night fundraiser to benefit the Parkland 17 Memorial Foundation.
The memorial will be located in the 150-acre preserve bordering Coral Springs and Parkland to unite the affected communities.
Tony Montalto, father of Gina Montalto, Vice Chairman of the Parkland 17 Memorial Foundation, and family liaison for all the victims’ families, said they are incredibly grateful to the Rotary Club of Coral Springs/ Parkland for selecting our foundation as a beneficiary of their fundraiser. “Their support will help us continue our mission of advocating for safer schools and communities and provide support for the Parkland 17 Memorial.”
The Parkland 17 Memorial Foundation is funding the new memorial held on the former Heron Bay Golf Course. Open to the public; the memorial will provide a place to remember and reflect on those who were taken from their families and our community.
The night will include an assortment of casino games, including Blackjack, Poker, and Roulette, a raffle, a silent auction, a delicious buffet dinner, and cocktails. Whether you are a poker professional or a blackjack beginner, there are opportunities for everyone to participate.
The event is slated for Friday, May 10, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the main room at Parkland Golf & Country Club. According to the Rotary Club, sponsorship packages are available, with individual tickets starting at $100 each.
