Proposed Parkland Memorial {Parkland 17 Foundation}
Wings Plus in Coral Springs will donate 15% of dine-in and takeout sales to the Parkland 17 Memorial Foundation on Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Customers must mention the foundation when ordering for their purchases to count toward the benefit.
The restaurant is at 10140 W. Sample Road. The foundation is a Florida 501(c)(3) nonprofit established to build the official public memorial to the victims of the Feb. 14, 2018, shooting in Parkland.
The memorial will honor Alyssa Alhadeff, Scott Beigel, Martin Duque Anguiano Jr., Nicholas Dworet, Aaron Feis, Jaime Guttenberg, Chris Hixon, Luke Hoyer, Cara Loughran, Gina Montalto, Joaquin Oliver, Alaina Petty, Meadow Pollack, Helena Ramsay, Alex Schachter, Carmen Schentrup and Peter Wang.
The memorial will be located in a quiet, 150-acre preserve bordering Coral Springs and Parkland, connecting the two communities affected by the shooting.
