Police need your help in the investigation of a missing art piece stolen from a Coral Springs home.
Between October 24 and October 26, the work entitled “Wizard of Oz” by the artist Charles Fazino was removed from the victim’s Coral Springs home in the Whispering Woods community off of Wiles Road and detectives believe that the piece was sold in the area of Lake Worth around October 26.
Fazino is a highly collected pop artist whose works is exhibited in hundreds of museums and galleries in more than twenty different countries. The “Wizard of Oz” painting is a limited edition print lithograph and is numbered #226 of #300. The victim paid $1,590 for it, and can be found online for as high as $7,300.
