Woman Found Dead in Coral Springs Canal

A woman was found dead in a Coral Springs canal Thursday, authorities said.

Coral Springs Police responded to the area of the 1300 block of University Drive around 2:18 p.m. in reference to the adult female found dead in the water, said Sgt. Francis Capre.

“The case is still under investigation; however, there is no danger to the public, and we are not looking for any suspects,” Capre said.

Police ask anyone with additional information to call detectives at 954-346-1223.
