The Coral Glades baseball team put on a pitching clinic Friday night as they had three pitchers combine for a no-hitter in a win over Coconut Creek High School.
Jonny Melnick made the start and earned the win, while Emanuel Sohit and Trace Thelwell combined to strike out five of the final six batters for the victory.
The offense wasn’t too bad either as Head Coach Joe Franco got plate appearances for 18 different players as Evan Puccio had a pair of hits.
Jordan Archer, Nick Basso, Colin Begley, Elijah Leon, Melnick, and Thelwell all had RBI’s while Anthony Quigley scored three runs.
This was the Jaguars’ fifth win of the season, previously coming off a tough loss against Monarch High SchoolThursday night.
Up next, the Jaguars will play Boyd H. Anderson High School on the road Wednesday, March 17 at 3:45.
