Driven by fresh, high-quality ingredients and committed to providing their guests with a culinary experience, Swirl Wine Bistro creates dishes ranging from uncomplicated to elegant, fanciful to classical, cross-cultural to regional American.
Shane Caldwell, an active Coral Springs Coconut Creek Trustee & Platinum Circle-level member, saw this business in need and acted, granting them the opportunity to receive a grant and join the Chamber for a whole year on Fiserv’s dime, for being a minority-owned business trying to survive a pandemic and for being a staple in the community.
As part of Fiserv’s Back2Business program, Chef Judith Able of Swirl Wine Bistro received a $10,000 minority-owned business grant.
In addition, Swirl Wine Bistro has been sponsored by Fiserv to become a part of the Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce.
“We’re a unique brand. This restaurant is a catalyst to do bigger things in the community,” says Mike Able, owner of Swirl Wine Bistro. “Thanks to the help of Clover and Fiserv, who’ve supported us, we see our future going very well and Clover being a big part of it.”
The Fiserv Back2Business program is designed to strengthen businesses through financial support, business expertise, leading technology solutions such as the popular Clover point-of-sale platform from Fiserv, strategic partnerships, and community engagement.
Frank Bisignano, President and Chief Executive Officer of Fiserv, said they were well into their initial $10 million commitment to the Back2Business program and have been humbled by the tremendous stories of resiliency among the small business owners and entrepreneurs who have been part of the program.
“We’re also keenly aware that the work is not done, and the need remains great, so we are meaningfully increasing our investment in Back2Business. We are proud to continue providing much-needed support to small businesses across the country,” said Bisignano.
“One of our initiatives is to increase engagement of minority businesses within our organization,” said Cindy Brief, President and CEO of the Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber, who added they were thrilled to have Swirl as one of their newest members.
