Both the Coral Glades boys and girls cross country teams have seen improvements throughout the start of the 2021 season.
Both teams run individually since they do not have a full lineup of runners. Still, the boy's team, who competed with runners from Cypress Bay, Nova, Cooper City, Coral Springs Charter, and Piper High School, had several competitors run well.
In their latest meet at Tradewind Parks in Coconut Creek, Ali Abadallah finished in 12th place with a time of 21:18.32. Tyler Osburn ended up in 18th place, followed by Chase E Los Santos, Ethan Weinstock, and Yahia Ziodean.
For the girls, they only had two runners in Yasmin Mota and Victoria Benavente. They each finished within two seconds of each other with times of 43:23.07 and 43:24.78, respectively.
