Coral Springs native Lauren Sopourn has earned a prestigious spot among the 55th annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Photography Competition winners.
Her photo, “Coming for Cousins,” shot of the Miami Dolphins in 2022, won an Honorable Mention in feature and action photography.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame Photography Competition selects ten winning images each year in both the features and action categories. All winning photos are permanently displayed at Canton, Ohio’s Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Lauren, 24, has lived in Coral Springs her whole life. While she was homeschooled from kindergarten through high school, Lauren has always been a dynamic part of her community. She was involved with local groups like Coral Springs Youth Soccer and Police Explorers, and her family continues to reside in the area.

A recent graduate of Florida Atlantic University, she works as freelance, honing her photographic skills by capturing memorable moments for the Miami Dolphins, Florida Panthers, Miami Marlins, NCAA, and C-USA organizations.
When not on the field, she transfers her eye for detail and composition to corporate event photography and conferences.
Lauren’s preferred equipment is from Canon, primarily using the R3 model paired with a 400mm lens. With this, she captures a diverse range of action images.
Coming up, Lauren will be covering the Florida Panthers during the Stanley Cup final. Calling it an “unreal experience,” she has followed the Panthers throughout their playoff run, working freelance for the marketing department.

“Being in the FLA Live Arena and covering the watch parties has been an unforgettable experience. I am ever grateful for the ability to continue memorializing the history of the organization and the opportunity to be there for it all.”
