Chewy, an online retailer of pet food and pet care products, is expanding its veterinary services with a new clinic in The Walk of Coral Springs.
According to Chewy representatives, their newest clinic is set to open later this spring or early summer at 2920 North University Drive. This will mark the second Chewy Vet Care location in South Florida, following the successful launch of their inaugural clinic in Plantation.
Mita Malhotra, President of Chewy Health, said the selection of Coral Springs as the site for the new clinic was strategic.
“We chose Coral Springs because it allows us to be closer to our customers and provide personalized, thoughtful care,” Malhotra told Coral Springs Talk.
Malhotra also shared that the area’s high density of pets and pet parents makes it an ideal location for Chewy’s innovative approach to veterinary care. In addition, the clinic’s proximity to Chewy’s headquarters in Plantation will facilitate ongoing innovation and enhancements within the company’s growing healthcare ecosystem.
Malhotra adds that Chewy’s decision to set up shop there was influenced by The Walk, a popular community hub in Coral Springs with a proven track record of supporting companies.
“The Walk is a staple in Coral Springs, and we’re excited to join the many businesses that bring the community together.”
