From twinkling lights to festive gatherings, the holiday season in Coral Springs is filled with opportunities to make magical memories with family, friends and neighbors.
Downtown Coral Springs will be the heart of our holiday celebrations! Enjoy festive light displays, perfect for family photos and holiday fun, all month long on the City Hall Lawn (9500 West Sample Road) starting at 5 p.m.
Residents can usher in the holiday season with snow flurries, train rides, and ceremonial lighting of the tree at Light Up the Lawn on Saturday, December 6, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the City Hall Lawn.
‘Tis the season to decorate! The city is now accepting submissions for the Deck the Halls Festive Home Tour! This annual program showcases Coral Springs homeowners who go all out with their holiday decorations. Residents who would like to have their home be part of the holiday map may submit a photo of their home on the city’s website. All entries must be received by 12 p.m. on Monday, December 8. The holiday map will be live on December 9.
The holiday fun continues with our Annual Holiday Parade on Wednesday, December 10, along Sample Road from 7 to 9 p.m. This year’s theme, “Parade of Cultures,” celebrates a rich diversity of traditions from around the world.
Parents can enjoy holiday shopping or a night on the town while kids enjoy pizza, games, crafts, and more in a fun and safe environment as the city hosts Parents Night Out on Friday, December 12, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Coral Springs Gymnasium (2501 Coral Springs Drive). View a full list of events on the city’s website.
Residents are encouraged to pay close attention to the contents placed in blue bins to ensure recycling is not contaminated this holiday season. As a reminder:
- Christmas trees and large cardboard boxes can be placed together for collection with your bulk waste.
- Always discard plastic film, bubble wrap and Styrofoam from boxes into the green cart.
- Wrapping paper with foil is not recyclable.
- Electronics may be recycled at the Waste Transfer Station.
- Trash, recycling, and bulk will not be serviced on Christmas Day, December 25
