Alleged bank robber at Amerant Bank on Monday. {FBI}
Authorities on Monday were investigating a bank robbery at an Amerant Bank branch in Coral Springs, police said.
The robbery happened at the bank at 1755 N. University Dr. around 10 a.m., according to Coral Springs Police. No one was injured during the crime, authorities said.
No arrests had been as of Monday afternoon, police said.
The FBI is leading the investigation.
The bank robbery briefly led to a lockdown of Ramblewood Elementary School Monday morning.
