
Coral Springs High School’s team on School Duel
Broward County Public Schools BECON-TV announces the launch of Season 16 of School Duel, the popular academic quiz show that highlights the knowledge and skills of high school students from across South Florida.
Presented by Chick-fil-A and BrightStar Credit Union, this longstanding scholastic program continues to provide students with an engaging platform to demonstrate their knowledge and academic excellence.
School Duel host Lisa Lee Arneaud welcomes 17 teams from Broward County Public Schools (BCPS), including Blanche Ely High School, College Academy at Broward College, Coconut Creek High School, Cooper City High School, Coral Springs High School, Cypress Bay High School, Everglades High School, Hallandale Magnet High School, Hollywood Hills High School, J.P. Taravella High School, McFatter Technical High School, Miramar High School, Northeast High School, Nova High School, Plantation High School, Pompano Beach High School and West Broward High School.
Game four on Thursday, March 19, features Coral Springs High School vs. J.P. Taravella.
Each episode features two teams of high school students in a battle of intellect and quick thinking, answering questions across a wide range of subjects, including history, literature, math, arts, science, and more.
In addition to these schools across BCPS, the show also features student teams from Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.

Winning teams receive Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches for an entire year, while runner-up teams are awarded cash prizes from BrightStar Credit Union.
All student participants receive School Duel trophies from EDCO Awards & Specialties.
Tune in to BECON-TV every Thursday at 8 p.m., with the season finale airing on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Each episode will be rebroadcast on Saturdays and Sundays at 10 a.m.
BECON-TV reaches homes throughout Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties on Xfinity/Comcast Cable HD (channel 488 or 19), DISH Network, and DIRECTV (channel 63).
