The Coral Glades boys basketball team played well in the Tark Classic during the Holiday Break in Las Vegas from December 18-21.
The Jaguars went 3-1, winning 71-61 over St. Paul High School (California) in their first game. They then beat Laramie High School (Wyoming) 77-44 before suffering their only six-point loss against Cathedral Catholic High School (California). However, the Jaguars responded with a 61-57 win over Crossroads High School (California) in their final game and improved to 10-4 this season.
Coral Glades is currently ranked the 64th-best team in Florida and is off to its best start in school history. This year, the Jaguars have won over Plantation, Balboa, Fort Lauderdale, Mater Lakes Academy, Flanagan, Stranahan, and Everglades High School.
They return to the court on January 3 to play Miami Country Day before playing Academy of Central Florida Regional on January 4.
