While Coral Glades didn’t get the result they would have liked; it was still a special evening with the Jaguars.
On Friday night, the team honored players in the senior class during their game against Marjory Stoneman Douglas.
Twenty-five were honored: Dylan Knaebel, Joseph “Jojo” Rispoli, Christian Garnett, Raoul “Leon” Pierre, Joshua Guerin, Joell Holmes, Kyle Williamson, Jaden Wilson, Corey Tate, Richie Maston, Kyle Nelson, Ruthmaer Louissaint, Keith Timmons Jr., Virmari Mckaskill, Knoelan Marshall, Rodney Stone, Kenrick Cherrelus, Kush Patel, Roderick Jackson, Jordan Lyons, Kenyon Carney, Tyren Reid Jr., Courtney Bucknell, Daniel Wilkins, and Nashat Husein.
“There is a group of about ten that have been with me since I took over the program, “said Head Coach Cam Thomas. “They are the foundation of the program, and with them, we are building on something great.”
The Jaguars fell in the game 47-29 while Nelson had three rushing touchdowns. Joshua Pena caught a touchdown pass, and Richie Mason kicked a 35-yard field goal.
Next, Coral Glades waits to see who they will face in the postseason on Sunday, November 7, when the brackets are released.
