The National Tech Honors Society (NTHS) at Coral Glades High School is inviting the community to a special fundraiser at Wings Plus on Thursday, October 17, from 4 to 9 p.m.
The event takes place at Wings Plus, 9880 W Sample Rd, Coral Springs. Attendees can support the club by dining at the restaurant and mentioning that they are there for NTHS when placing their orders.
With 150 members, the NTHS club plays a vital role in preparing students for life after high school.
“We are a club that teaches students skills they’ll need during high school, or once they’ve graduated,” said Tyler Ferro, the CTACE Computer Programming Teacher, and NTHS advisor. “Regardless of whether they are going to college or trade school, we teach them things such as resume building, leadership, social media, and helping the community. We focus on improving our members and helping them advance their future and those around them.”
Twenty percent of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to the NTHS, which will help fund various charity and service projects throughout the community.
