Coral Glades High School hosted the first competition this year as they began their quest for a State Championship.
The Jaguars competed against Marjory Stoneman Douglas, Coral Springs Charter, South Broward Ft. Lauderdale, Boyd H. Anderson, and Monarch High School. The Jaguars are coming off a third-place finish at the State Championship after first at Districts and fifth at B Regionals in the extra-large non-tumbling division.
The Panthers finished fourth in the co-ed division at the States last year and also placed in the top three in their previous tournaments.
The Lady Colts came in 11th at State in the small non-tumbling division, and the Eagles finished second in the medium non-tumbling division. These schools will all continue to practice in preparation for the BCAA, District, Regional, and State Championships in the new year.
