The City of Coral Springs is celebrating its 60th Anniversary in a big way with a Community Celebration Concert on Saturday, February 11.
The event, hosted in partnership with Broward Health, will take place on the Great Lawn of City Hall at 9500 West Sample Road at 5:30 p.m.
Featuring headliner Wonderama, a high-energy top 40 band that will get guests up and dancing. The concert is free and open to the public and will offer food and drinks from various on-site food trucks and cocktail stations.
In addition, local vendor booths, sports-themed activities, a rock wall, and more will be available for guests to enjoy.
Members of the city will also be on hand to provide updates on current projects and share their future goals and visions. The city will also honor local volunteers who serve on boards, committees, and groups.
Commemorative 60th Anniversary merchandise will be available for purchase on-site, offering guests the opportunity to take home a piece of the celebration.
According to the city, lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged; however, seating is limited. Outside food and alcohol are prohibited. Free parking is available at the City Hall parking garage.
Food Trucks include BC Tacos, Cecilie’s Gourmet Italian Ices, Cousins Maine Lobster, The Greek Gyro Truck, Heavenly Churros, Meatheads BBQ, Playa Bowls, Pork O’ Rican, Seasons Catering, Steve’s Wood Fired Pizza, Tijuana Taxi Co. Waffle King, and Wontons on Wheels. A cocktail station will also be available.
