Duran Duran, the legendary British rock band, has announced a highly-anticipated 26-date North American arena tour set to kick off this year.
“We are still hitting new milestones, introducing the sound of DD to new generations of music lovers, and we are truly grateful to do what we love every day, ” said Duran Duran’s lead singer, Simon Le Bon.
Entitled “The Future Past Tour,” it also features British rock band Bastille and Nile Rodgers & CHIC as special guests on all dates.
The tour will come to FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida, on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
Pre-sale begins on February 13 at 10 a.m. and ends on February 15 at 10 p.m. offering Duran Duran VIP members an opportunity to purchase tickets first.
Citi cardmembers will also have access to presale tickets through the Citi Entertainment program, starting on February 13 at 2 p.m. ET.
General public tickets go on sale starting Thursday, February 16 at 10 a.m.
The band’s latest studio album, “Future Past,” has received critical acclaim, with some calling it Duran Duran at their best. The album features collaborations with several renowned artists and was recorded across London and LA studios during the pandemic.
The band had a landmark year in 2022, being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and headlining major events such as London’s Hyde Park, the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Concert, and the Commonwealth Games in their hometown of Birmingham.
They ended the year with a spectacular performance in Times Square on New Year’s Eve in front of over a million people.
