The Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce welcomed Comcast Business as the featured sponsor of its Wake-Up Breakfast on Tuesday, offering local business leaders an update on the company’s expansive fiber network project.
Held at The Coral Springs Country Club, the event gave attendees insights into Comcast’s ongoing infrastructure developments, which aim to deliver high-speed, reliable internet services across Coral Springs.
Chris Harbin, director of Community and Residential Sales for Comcast Business, outlined the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in the community through its Xfinity and business solutions.
“We’re excited to bring our advanced fiber network to Coral Springs, offering direct fiber connections that support everything from single-user homes to large-scale enterprise operations,” Harbin said. “With over 100,000 fiber miles nationwide, our investment in this area will provide residents and businesses with unparalleled speed and reliability.”
As previously reported in Coral Springs Talk, Comcast announced a major fiber network buildout across the city, connecting thousands of homes and businesses to its Xfinity and Comcast Business services.

The project, expected to be completed by the end of 2025, aims to pass 15,000 homes, with further expansion dependent on interest from homeowners associations (HOAs) and commercial properties.
Harbin emphasized that the project includes both public and private community installations, allowing homeowners and businesses in gated communities, apartment complexes, and condominiums to access dedicated Internet solutions.
He highlighted features like seamless network connectivity across common areas, smart community options like surveillance and lighting systems, and expanded entertainment platforms through Xfinity’s X1 service.
The Chamber of Commerce recently switched to Comcast Business and praised the improved service. President Charinus Davis shared her experience.
”Before, we were constantly dealing with slow speeds and connectivity issues,” she said. “Now, our internet is fast and reliable, and our phone calls are no longer dropping. It has made a huge difference in our day-to-day operations.”
Additionally, local business owner Jack Rothberg of Richard’s Locksmith provided a testimonial.
“Since switching to Comcast Business, my staff and I have experienced excellent quality and customer service—no more static or choppy internet.”

Comcast representatives encouraged residents and business owners to reach out for personalized consultations. A promotional offer was also announced, allowing new customers to sign up for discounted rates for a limited time.
“Instead of calling a national call center, we recommend working with our local team who understands the needs of businesses here in Coral Springs,” said Comcast Business’s Director of Sales, Ray Carballo.
