Coral Springs Charter Girls’ Cross-Country Team Qualifies for Regionals

The Coral Springs Charter Girls’ cross-country team qualified for the regional championship by coming in third place at the 2A District Championship on November 4 at the South County Regional Park in Boca Raton.
Lily Richardson earned ninth place, and Alyson Thomas came in 19th place.
The Charter boys’ team finished 10th but did not qualify for the regional meet. Lucas Werth finished 18th and qualified as an individual for the regional championship.
“The girls’ team ran well, and they faced strong competition. Our boys also ran well and had a good showing, but did not qualify for the regional meet,” said coach Brantley Barr.
The Charter girls’ team and Werth are now preparing for the regional championship at South County Regional Park on Friday morning, November 14.
