Coral Springs Charter girls volleyball has only two seniors on their roster, but both have put together terrific careers for the Panthers.
Olivia Panico and Katelyn Bilz were both honored before their match against J.P. Taravella Tuesday night. The Panthers also picked up a dominating 25-11, 25-22, 25-12 win for their 14th victory of the season.
Panico has been on the varsity team for four years and has won 58 matches in her career. She has been a captain on the team for two years and had over 100 kills in two seasons. Bilz had played two years with CSC and competed in 13 sets last year before the season was shut down due to COVID:19.
The Panthers will still have one more home game in the regular season on Thursday, October 7, against Pembroke Pines Charter at 6 p.m. Their final volleyball match of the season will be on Friday, October 11, against Calvary Christian Academy, with the Panthers trying to reach 16 wins for the third time in the past four seasons.
