
Coral Springs Charter Junior Varsity Softball Team. {CSC Softball}
The future is bright at Coral Springs Charter, with the junior varsity softball team completing a terrific season, going 10-2.
The Panthers outscored their opponents 98-31 and were led by Cameron Thiele. She hit .650 and eventually was moved to the varsity team, helping them make a Regional Final. Emma Ruiz finished second on the team, hitting .600 and having a team-best .64 era. Briella MarInelli hit .500 and also shined defensively at shortstop.
Addison Brown and Amaya Marines rounded out the right side of the infield, with Brown scoring 15 runs and Marines hitting .421.In the outfield, Brenna Mazanec, Gyensynn Courtney, and Sabrina Schultz impressed just the outfield, throwing runners out and stealing bases.
In the circle, Madison Leonard pitched to an era of 3.50, while Angelina Hernandez pitched and swung the bat well. Sophia Diaz and Iralynn Courtney did well in the bullpen, working alongside catcher Skylar Fleck, who had 50 putouts. With several seniors graduating, CSC will have several players move up to varsity while others continue to develop.
