The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between June 29 and July 5, 2026. Please note that the police have redacted the names and addresses of victims in most incidents.
Incidents
Burglary
A non-forced residential burglary was reported on July 1. Approximately $20 in property was reported stolen.
A burglary from a vehicle was reported on July 2. Approximately $90 in property was reported stolen.
Theft
A grand theft auto was reported June 29.
An attempted grand theft auto was reported June 30.
A grand theft involving approximately $3,500 was reported June 30.
Two additional grand theft auto cases were reported July 1 and July 3.
A petit theft involving approximately $1,300 was reported June 29.
Shoplifting incidents totaling $179, $179, $347 and $299 were reported during the week.
Additional petit thefts involving approximately $400 and $36 were also reported.
Fraud
Multiple fraud cases were reported, including losses of approximately:

Property Crimes
Three reports of property damage were filed.
One criminal mischief case involving more than $200 in damage was reported.
Two lost property reports and three found property reports were documented.
Violent Crimes
Two aggravated assaults were reported.
Two sexual battery investigations were opened.
Two stalking cases were reported.
One battery involving a victim age 65 or older was reported.
Multiple battery and domestic battery incidents were reported throughout the week, including one domestic battery by strangulation investigation.
Other Incidents
One extortion/blackmail case involving approximately $1,900 was reported.
One written threat to kill or cause bodily harm was investigated.
One identity theft was reported.
One animal bite was reported.
One trespassing incident was reported.
Numerous risk of harm, suspicious incident, traffic violation, police information, Baker Act, civil matter, domestic disturbance and agency assist calls were also documented.
Arrests
The following arrests were reported during the week:
Amanda Reyes Bakouni, 35, was arrested on a charge of domestic battery.
Micah Andre Eason, 45, was arrested on a charge of domestic battery causing bodily harm.
Haiber Oveimar Solarte Portilla, 18, was arrested on a capias warrant.
Reginald Tyrone Porter, 37, was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended or revoked (third or subsequent offense).
Alexis Roberto Marrero Rodriguez, 49, was arrested on a capias warrant.
Joab Isaac Hoyos, 36, was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
Marcell Anthony Bean, 26, was arrested on a charge of grand theft from a dwelling.
Brittany Rachelle Warfel, 33, was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended (habitual offender).
Jack Ancelmo Bosche Mendez, 21, was arrested on a charge of possession of psilocybin.
Daniel Edward Niemiec, 20, was arrested on charges of felony dating violence by strangulation and two counts of misdemeanor domestic battery.
Omar Gabriel Dumet, 33, was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Jeremiah Scott Demmitt, 48, was arrested on a capias warrant.
Ulisses Vinicio Hernandez Ramirez, 55, was arrested on a charge of felony petit theft.
Michael Philip Corrao, 50, was arrested on a charge of DUI (second offense).
Careca Conrad Caballero, 38, was arrested on a charge of providing a false name to law enforcement.
