The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between June 15 and June 21, 2026. Please note that the police have redacted the names and addresses of victims in most incidents.
Incidents
Burglary
A business burglary without forced entry was reported in the 91 block of Wiles Road between June 14 and June 15. About $560 was reported stolen.
An attempted non-forced vehicle burglary was reported on June 17. Nothing was stolen.
A vehicle burglary with theft was reported on June 16. Approximately $620 in property was reported stolen.
A forced business burglary was reported June 18. The reported loss was about $358.
A non-forced vehicle burglary was reported June 19 with approximately $630 in reported losses.
Theft
Petit theft was reported in the 11700 block of Royal Palm Boulevard on June 15. The reported loss was about $449.
Theft of an auto part was reported in the 1000 block of Riverside Drive. The reported loss was minimal.
A grand theft was reported June 17 with an estimated loss of $1,462.
Grand theft of a vehicle was reported June 20.
Retail Theft / Shoplifting
A shoplifting incident at Cycle Gear, 6371 W. Sample Road, resulted in approximately $315 in reported losses.
Shoplifting was reported at a business in the 34 block of Coral Springs Drive with about $777 in merchandise stolen.
Felony retail theft totaling approximately $1,397 was reported at a business in the 6 block of North University Drive.
Shoplifting incidents were reported at Target, 9600 Westview Drive, on June 19 and June 20.
Shoplifting was reported at Publix, 1285 N. University Drive, with approximately $395 in merchandise stolen.
Shoplifting was reported in the 8 block of Royal Palm Boulevard.
Shoplifting under $750 was reported in the 90 block of West Atlantic Boulevard.
Shoplifting was reported at Macy’s, 9129 W. Atlantic Blvd., with approximately $544 in merchandise stolen.
Felony retail theft totaling approximately $1,611 was reported in the 38 block of Turtle Creek Drive.
Shoplifting under $750 was reported in the 7 block of North University Drive with approximately $628 in reported losses.
Fraud
Fraudulent use of a credit card resulted in about $160 in reported losses.
Fraud totaling approximately $920 was reported.
Fraud was reported by a resident in the 5700 block of NW 119th Terrace.
Fraudulent use of a credit card with approximately $295 in losses was reported.
Fraud totaling approximately $3,317 was reported in the 10 block of West Sample Road.
An extortion/blackmail case involving approximately $516 was reported.
Battery
A battery involving a person age 65 or older was reported June 16.
Multiple battery and domestic battery incidents were reported throughout the week.
An aggravated battery was reported June 20 in the Coral Hills Drive area.
A domestic battery by strangulation was reported June 21.
Domestic Disturbances
Police responded to multiple domestic disturbance calls during the week, including incidents in:

NW 23rd Street
NW 40th Street
Riverside Drive
North University Drive
Coral Ridge Drive
NW 42nd Street
Narcotics
Narcotics violations were reported in the 11400 block of West Sample Road and the 9200 block of Ramblewood Drive.
Drug paraphernalia possession was reported June 16.
Narcotics possession was reported in the 3500 block of Riverside Drive.
Another narcotics violation was reported in the 6000 block of Coral Ridge Drive.
Other Notable Incidents
Elder exploitation was reported involving a 70-year-old victim.
Elder neglect involving an 83-year-old victim was reported.
A missing endangered person was reported on June 20.
Criminal mischief causing more than $1,000 in damage was reported in the 41 block of NW 88th Avenue.
Trespassing on school property was reported at a Broward County public school.
Several Baker Act, risk of harm, suspicious incident, suspicious vehicle, found property, lost property, abandoned vehicle and information reports were also documented during the week.
Arrests
The following arrests were reported by Coral Springs Police during the reporting period:
Victor Manuel Rivero, 41, was arrested on a charge of domestic battery.
Lildevis Denard Demps, 39, was arrested on a charge of possession of cocaine with intent to sell.
Andre Baez, 30, was arrested on a capias warrant.
Jacquline Rochelle Schlissel, 38, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Rosa Osorio Garcia, 48, was arrested on a charge of grand theft from a dwelling.
Montecello Cooper, 45, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license as a habitual offender.
Robert Thomas Held, 53, was arrested on a battery charge.
Lorena Carla Carreras, 52, was arrested on a charge of battery on a person 65 or older.
Debbi Ann Decaro, 59, was arrested on a shoplifting charge.
Elizabeth Davies, 37, was arrested on a shoplifting charge.
Chelsea Peyton Timmons, 28, was arrested on a petit theft charge.
David Michael Gigliotti, 19, was arrested on a capias warrant.
Adrian V. Molano, 20, was arrested on a charge of domestic battery by strangulation.
Orlando David Smith, 23, was arrested on a charge of trespassing on school property.
