The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between April 28 and May 4, 2025. Here are some of those incidents.
Thefts and Burglaries:
Retail theft was reported at Target on N. State Road 7, with an estimated loss of $1,209.
Hobby Lobby reported retail theft between April 23 and April 28; $500 in merchandise was stolen.
A burglary at a Coral Springs business on April 30 resulted in a $20,700 loss.
Several vehicle burglaries occurred across the city, including a theft from a car near Coral Ridge Drive and another on NW 39th Street totaling $500.
Publix reported multiple retail thefts at locations on Sample Road and University Drive, with estimated losses ranging from $11 to $646.
Walmart, located at Turtle Creek Drive and Coral Ridge Drive, also reported thefts totaling $51 and $45.
Auto parts were reported stolen near Coral Ridge Drive, with a loss of $26.
Fraud and Identity Theft:
A victim on NW 121st Drive reported a fraud loss totaling $10,138.
Another resident reported identity theft resulting in a $26,755 loss.
Additional fraud cases were reported on Kensington Circle and elsewhere in the city.
Assaults, Batteries, and Domestic Violence:
Multiple domestic battery incidents were reported throughout the week, many without named victims.
A victim was reportedly battered near Coral Springs Drive on May 2.
Aggravated battery was reported on April 30; the victim was identified.
Several cases of battery by intentional striking were reported on multiple dates, including May 2 and 4.
Mental Health and Baker Acts:
Numerous Baker Act calls were handled by police, including incidents on Sample Road, Atlantic Boulevard, and Ramblewood Drive.
Mental illness and risk of harm assessments were conducted at several addresses.
Other Incidents:
Arson at a dwelling occurred on May 1.
A robbery involving a weapon was reported on May 1, with an estimated $700 loss.
Counterfeit bills were reported near Sample Road.
Several cases of drug possession, suspended licenses, and municipal narcotics violations were investigated.
Multiple suspicious incidents, civil matters, lost property, and information reports were filed citywide.
Arrests:
Djeff Henrice, 30, was arrested on a capias warrant near Coral Ridge Drive.
Roxana Gomez Alvarez, 25, was arrested for domestic battery.
John Daniel Taylee, 36, was arrested for retail theft over $750 in coordination with others.
Michael John Guido McDonald, 34, was arrested for tag not assigned.
Ladarious X. Walker, 19, was arrested for shoplifting.
Richard Ceballos, 41, was arrested for possession of cocaine.
Daniel M. Turner, 36, was arrested for disorderly intoxication.
Jamari Shakur Sharpe, 21, was arrested for grand theft retail.
Devlin Martinez, 18, was arrested for shoplifting.
Kayla Nicole Green, 23, was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
Dontavius Loray Wimberly, 32, was arrested for possession of cocaine.
Sandora Simenthia Walker, 59, was arrested for felony retail theft with prior conviction.
George M. Nebe, 43, was arrested for domestic battery.
Aisha Blaze, 42, was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
Jysell Lugo, 26, and Brandon Konnor Hill, 34, were both arrested on capias warrants.
Jacqulin Oneuil, 29, was arrested for first-degree arson.
Courtney Uriarte Vazquez, 36, was arrested for shoplifting.
Jacoi Jerrell Ricks, 21, was arrested for domestic battery.
Eldred D. Angelo Dowling, 47, was arrested for petit theft.
Kliford Bozieux, 36, was arrested for habitual driving with a suspended license.
