The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between June 16 and June 22, 2025. Please note that the police have redacted the names of victims and addresses of most incidents.
Property Crimes & Incidents
Property damage was reported at 10406 NW 36th St between June 12–15.
Another incident of property damage occurred at 2801 Coral Springs Dr on June 17 and again on June 20 at 3000 Coral Hills Dr.
Fraud was reported in multiple locations, including:
A $14,000 fraud loss at 19 N University Dr.
A $1.23 million loss at 39 NW 126th Ave.
A $202,000 wire fraud at 12 Wiles Rd.
Additional smaller fraud cases at various locations throughout the city.
Retail thefts took place at Publix, Home Depot, Walmart, and T.J.Maxx with losses ranging from $16 to $34,999.
A grand theft auto was reported on June 22.
Multiple incidents of petit theft, bicycle theft, and theft of auto parts were documented.
Violent & Domestic Incidents
Several domestic battery cases occurred at various addresses including NW 100th Ave, NW 118th Ln, and NW 28th Dr.
An aggravated assault was reported on June 20.
One case of false imprisonment and another of child neglect were also reported during this period.
Other Notable Reports
Coral Springs police handled multiple “risk of harm” calls, Baker Act cases, and threat assessments.
Suspicious incidents and information-only cases were recorded throughout the city.
Several lost and found property cases were logged.
Three unattended or medically attended deaths were reported.
Extortion/blackmail cases were reported on June 21 and June 22.
Arrests
Carolyn Elizabeth Johnson, 55, was arrested for burglary with assault or battery.
Benancio Diaz, 88, and Dajour Brendon Joseph, 27, were arrested on capias warrants.
Porsha Linette Smith, 35, and Ruben Enrique Gutierrez Jimenez, 33, were arrested for retail theft.
Daniel Evan Chapman, 35, and Robert Alan Sheehan, 66, were charged with petit theft, both with prior offenses.
Ross Barnard Stephens, 20, was arrested for grand theft of a firearm.
Liga Vasiljeva, 41, and Donald Emidio Bautista Mendez, 45, were charged with domestic battery.
Michael A. Lopez, 26, and Jarrard Maliak Johnson, 31, were charged with cocaine-related offenses.
Kentorious J. Cody, 22, was arrested for possession of cannabis.
Samari Wilson Exantus, 23, was arrested for unlawful possession of five or more personal IDs.
Anthony Seda, 28, and Tramyah Cache Smith, 28, were charged with retail/petit theft.
Darryl Ricardo Hilton, 66, was arrested for trespassing.
Andrew Jeffrey Orr, 51, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (dating violence).
