Job seekers across South Florida will have the chance to score a new career inside the home of the Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers, as one of the region’s largest job fairs takes over Amerant Bank Arena on Thursday, June 26.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., more than 100 employers from Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties will be on-site to fill thousands of positions. The event is free and open to the public, with complimentary parking available. Organizers recommend arriving early to maximize face time with top recruiters.
Among the participating employers are the City of Sunrise and Sunrise Police Department, Broward County Public Schools (Food & Nutrition Services), Kelly Education, New York Life, Seminole Public Safety, Allied Universal, Sherwin-Williams, Omni Fort Lauderdale, and the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, to name a few.
Open positions range from entry-level to management across multiple industries, including education, law enforcement, food service, customer support, sales, IT, and hospitality. Some companies will even conduct on-the-spot interviews and extend job offers during the event.
To make the most of the job fair, attendees are encouraged to dress professionally, bring multiple copies of their resume, and prepare a brief introduction highlighting their skills. Pre-registering online is also recommended, as it allows recruiters early access to candidate resumes.
