Coral Springs Charter baseball player Noah Mendez has officially announced his commitment to Clarion University.
Mendez thanked God and his mother for supporting him throughout his journey, and he also expressed appreciation for Coach Stock, Manny Ramirez, and the other coaches who mentored him through the ups and downs of his career.
“Thank you to Clarion University for this opportunity,” Mendez said. “I am excited for what is ahead.”
Mendez appeared in 22 games during his junior season with the Panthers, hitting .250 and recording his first varsity home run. He helped Coral Springs Charter finish the season 9-13 and reach the Regional Tournament.
He will now prepare for his senior season before continuing his baseball career at Clarion. The Golden Eagles won 19 games last season, while the program has produced eight MLB Draft picks.
