Firefighters battled a blaze at an abandoned building in the Heron Bay community in Coral Springs Saturday morning, authorities said.
The Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department responded to 11801 Heron Bay Blvd. and found the abandoned building engulfed in flames, a department spokesperson said.
The fire has been knocked down, but the scene remains active, authorities said.
The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
