It was a memorable night for the Coral Springs High School Volleyball team as the Colts had a strong showing in their 3-0 win over Deerfield Beach High School on Senior Night.
They honored six seniors before the match: Jaden Bowen, T’Ahna Hoskins, Akilah Barrett, Marjorie Medrano, Melanie Tavarez, and Rayanna Rickard.
The seniors also played terrific in the win as Medrano led the team with seven kills and 11 assists. Defensively, Barrett had 21 digs, and Hoskins, Barrett, and Tavarez each had a block.
The Colts won the opening game 28-26 and then dominated the final two sets, allowing just 16 points to improve their record to 3-2 on the year.
Up next, CSHS travelsl to Everglades High School for a matchup on Monday, November 10, at 6 p.m.
