
CTS Engines. {City of Coral Springs}
The City of Coral Springs has announced the recipients of its 2026 Business Excellence Awards, recognizing local businesses for their innovation, customer service, community involvement and economic impact.
According to the city, the awards celebrate businesses that help strengthen the local economy and improve residents’ quality of life.
“The Business Excellence Awards allow us to recognize the innovation, resilience, and dedication of our local business community,” said Kristi Bartlett, director of economic development. “Each of these honorees plays an important role in strengthening our local economy and enhancing the quality of life in Coral Springs.”
The following businesses were honored:
CTS Engines received the Large Business Award. Founded in 2002, the aviation maintenance and repair company is headquartered in Coral Springs and employs approximately 120 local workers.

Artbag {City of Coral Springs}
Artbag earned the Small Company Award. Originally founded in Manhattan in 1932, the handbag restoration business now operates in Coral Springs, employing four people.

Drake Irish Dance South Florida. {City of Coral Springs}
Drake Irish Dance South Florida received the Heart of the Community Award for its involvement in local events, schools, and fundraisers supporting the Cara Dances On Foundation.

Pink Pony Tail Salon {City of Coral Springs}
Pink Pony Tail Salon was honored with the Legacy Award. Founded in 1985, the salon has served Coral Springs for 40 years and is operated by sisters Simi and Roya Saramoot.

Sole Source Shoe Repair and Alterations. {City of Coral Springs}
Sole Source Shoe Repair & Alterations earned the Commissioner’s Award. The business, owned by Francesco Montalbano, has operated in Coral Springs since 1996.

Jaan Holistic Wellness & Head Spa. {City of Coral Springs}
Jaan Holistic Wellness & Head Spa received the Company to Watch Award. Opened in 2024, the wellness business specializes in Ayurvedic-inspired scalp and hair treatments.

The Bin Doctor. {City of Coral Springs}
The Bin Doctor earned the Sustainability Award for its residential bin-cleaning and sanitization services, which prioritize environmental responsibility.
City officials said the Economic Development Office remains committed to supporting local businesses and attracting new investment to Coral Springs.
